Q: a friend of mine told me about acupincture to try and get pregnant, but my husband doesnt want to try it, and im a bit scared too. does anyone know if it works?

A: i know it worked for me when i had back pain last year. i was thinking about trying it to help me get pregnant too. good luck, and keep us posted! ;-)

A: I have a friend that swears by it (has a healthy baby girl after many years of trying) and it is included in a lot of the research I have been doing. I did use acupuncture a few years ago and it was relaxing and helped my back.
When I find someone local I will definitely go for fertility help.

A: Hi i've also heard acupuncture is good when trying for a baby but also scared of having it done. Is it painful?

A: It helps many women conceiving on many different levels:
-Physically: Acupuncture promotes the circulation of blood in the pelvic cavity and may also improves ovarian function and follicle production.
It also enhance the blood flow in the uterine and improve the endometrium (uterine lining) thickness.
-Emotionnally: it helps calming the mind and most people feel very relax after the session.
I suggest you try to find an acupuncturist from the British Acupuncture Council near your place.
